chickami is fini
At last! Who ever thought it would happen?
The chickami is done, and it fits. The only thing is it hasn't been blocked, but I am so excited that its done, because I really honestly thought I would never ever finish all the stockinette stitching and i-cord. There's a lot of both of those things involved.
I didn't feel like modeling, but here it is, in all its blackness, from the front

Not so visually stimulating, I guess. But hey, in the second one you can see the stitching a little better. Plus have I said lately that Rowan Wool Cotton is so nice? I would like to eat it with a spoon for 3 meals every day. I would, I really would.
Today on my way to Marcel's I saw Guardian Angel Gerry,(who is something of a mystery and pops up everywhere and always at the unlikeliest times. Once he walked Marcel and I home in the rain, when I was crying. Every neighborhood I move to he moves to. I consider him a mysterious gift from the universe and don't question it too much beyond that. He is a real person though, and really named Gerry. And has a moustache which is silver and curly and will convince you, even if nothing else will, that he is an otherworldly being.) and then later I looked down and there was a rabbit not 2 feet from the sidewalk where I was walking. At the time I saw the rabbit I was carrying coffee and a muffin was in my pocket, so you know it had to be a good sign. Its amazing how sometimes things all fall into alignment like that.
