work in progress- missing the Big Dawg

Yesterday I was reading an article by Alice Walker, when I came across the simple and fitting words I've used in this picture. She was speaking about ancestors, literal and spiritual. In case they aren't readable in the picture, the words are "May you be free/May you be happy/May you be at peace/May you be at rest/May you know we remember you." The photo is one that I took of John when we first met, in the summer of the killer heatwave. At night, we would walk around until all hours, talking, stopping sometimes and taking pictures. He is sitting on the stairs of the cathedral in this one. This is the picture I was searching for before the memorial service, and didn't find until later, when I was moving. (Thanks to Noorym for digitized version with border.) I think its going to be the back cover of my new magazine issue, which is still moving along, extremely slowly, as is my custom. This one, being as its a memorial issue, has been even slower, in fact, its just a cover at the moment- that's the easy part. Anyway. Just a thing I'm working on.
